Orchard Village is a non profit organization based in Skokie that supports over 300 men, women and children with disabilities. Founded in 1972, our organization believes in person centered planning, which is based on 21 measurable outcomes based on 21 measurable Personal Outcomes. We serve individuals with a wide range of disabilities through our Residential, Vocational, Intermittent, Transition, Respite, Orchard Academy and Seniors programs. Orchard Village has been accredited by the Council on Quality and Leadership as ranking in the top tier of organizations nationwide that serve people with disabilities.
Unlike other agencies that measure people's deficits, Orchard Village seeks to uncover each person's unique gifts, talents and interests, and then offer choices on these important matters.
